Quantum Error: The Review

Quantum Error : The Review Score: 4  out of 10 Overview : "Quantum Error shows a lot of promise, nailing the horror of it all, but a mixed bag of characters and the lack of clarity in both story and gameplay ends up making this a cosmic mess." The Positives Quantum Error shines in the horror department, being extremely successful in crafting a tense and stress filled atmosphere that really brings the best of what the game has to offer; We have to praise the game's tutorial level which succeeds in introducing "pretty much" all the tools available in the game in a simple and effective way; The visual identity of the game is really strong. The directing is top notch and honestly a big positive factor during the cutscenes; In terms of gameplay, the game shines in the more scripted and linear segments, truly showing what this team is able to create by making tense and honestly horrific (in the best way) moments worth coming back to; The story, which has the hard tas

PlayTest is now... Out of Bounds!

After almost a one year break, PlayTest is back...sort of but before we get to that though, let us explain why we took this almost year-long break.  When we launched last October, we had a plan for what the first few weeks and months would look like for the page but due to some unforeseen circumstances that plan kinda went all of the over the place and we got a bit disoriented into where the blog was going and so, after some time to consider everything, we decided to shut down and rework everything and "relaunch" at a later date. And so, here we are, finally ready to announce that Out of Bounds (fka PlayTest) is officially relaunching on October 25th, 2024! We hop

Bloodborne, a Retrospective Where to even begin... Let's start by clarifying something: prior to playing Bloodborne , I had zero contact with any FromSoftware game or any Soulslike game. This led me to somewhat fear this game, as all I had heard about this type of games was that: A) They were EXTREMELY hard and B) It's not a type of game made for everyone; however, I pushed through and started an experience that would change the way I looked towards this type of games. Bloodborne , even to this day, is known as one of FromSoftware's most proud achievements, The gothic setting of Yharnam, the "Lovecraftian" way of presenting its story and it's challenging but surprisingly fun (and fast) combat system are only some of the biggest selling points. But let's slow down and go step by step and discuss everything we can about Bloodborne . Note: The DLC "The Old Hunters" won't be covered in this retrospective. It will be included in a Part 2 releas
